Welcome to my new website! Here, I hope to share my latest projects and developments within my practice as a crafter, illustrator/animator & 3D modeller.
Previously named Wildebeastling, the small studio was born out of the Covid-19 lockdowns – when Cassandra flew back to Edinburgh from 6 months of travel across eastern & southeast asia just in time for the border closures.



It being difficult to secure a job during this time, Cassie turned to developing her illustration style & art practices at her small home-studio. Drawing heavily from the diversity in art, wildlife, kindness & freedom she witnesses during her adventures, Curious Wild was born!

She soon returned to live with her younger sister & budding ceramicist, Joanna (a.k.a Pot & Pebble). Together they created & shared a makeshift pottery studio in their elder sister’s old bedroom! Here, she began trading as a small business; sharing artworks in the form of ceramic pots, digital prints & inked posters.

Cassie continues to create outside her full-time role as a Decorative Painter for Porta Romana in Farnham, Surrey. Check this post to find out more about some of her practical experience within the workplace. Her favourite personal practices still involve inking with brush & nib, relief printing with linoleum & now include some sculptural modeling and painting techniques inspired by her role as a decorative painter.
